- A transformer correctly specified and
designed to the standards is expected to safely supply its' rated
continuous kVA capacity unattended for 20 years +

- This is where the Jenstar Type ES
non-ventilated, epoxy resin encapsulated, industrial transformer design
is far Superior to the competition who offer an exposed core / coil
design in cases which necessarily have ventilation openings for air to
enter and exit while cooling the transformer.

- Can open windings in cases with large
air ventilating openings rated IP22 or less taking in unfiltered air
with its dust, contaminants, and humidity be expected to work safely for
over 20 years? Having been supplying our ES design for
over 35 years worldwide, Jenstar knows that a transformer core/coils
encapsulated in epoxy resin in a heavy duty steel case IP54 rated will
do this and back it with a 5 year guarantee.
